The goal was to design a streamlined internal mobile app for Domino’s store teams to efficiently manage online ordering (OLO), monitor active orders, and handle store-level tasks such as reporting, brand management, and customer callbacks—all from one unified interface.
As the product designer, I focused on building a functional, modular design that reduces clutter and enhances task visibility. I worked toward aligning operational complexity with a smooth, app-like experience that empowers store managers and frontline staff.
This app redesign was built from the ground up to improve Domino’s store-level digital task management. The existing tools were fragmented and hard to operate during peak hours. I introduced a centralized dashboard with dynamic modules such as OLO management, reporting, call-to-customer, and brand administration. The onboarding and login flow were kept clean and focused on quick access.
The “What’s Up Today” section was added to surface real-time store activity (like OLO channel closures) and actionable insights at a glance, helping store staff prioritize their actions.
The app design uses Domino’s branded color palette with thoughtful use of icons and whitespace to deliver clarity across modules. Each module was designed as a self-contained card to support flexible flows, such as:
Selecting closure reasons for delivery/dine-in/takeaway
Setting exact closure timings
Viewing or resuming specific store operations
Submitting reports and confirmations
Emphasis was placed on large touch targets, simplified iconography, and a friendly yet professional UI for operational ease—especially during peak order times. The outcome is a mobile-first design that helps Domino’s store teams work faster, more accurately, and with greater control.
